    Yvonne Finch

    Yvonne Finch has long held the belief that when women are supported in a safe, nurturing environment they can sustain constant personal and business growth. This belief has determined the focus of her work in recent years.

    From a background of international corporate business when she was MD for a leading hair salon chain in South Africa and served on the Board of the American company, to running her own consultancy focusing on coaching, mentoring programmes and strategic business development she has garnered a reputation for being able to create the right environment for people and business development.

    She is proud that her mentoring programme has received international recognition as a world benchmark for Effective Mentoring. Her work in the female development arena has been a thrust and she is a founding member of the Business women’s Association (BWA) in South Africa, where she became National Vice President from 2003 to 2007 and is a founding member of the South African Women Entrepreneur’s Network (SAWEN).

    She served on the National Small Business Advisory Council to the Minister for Trade and Industry in South Africa from 2006 to 2009 with the “women focus” portfolio.

    Maureen Erekua Odoi

    Mrs. Maureen Erekua Odoi is a Founding Director/Executive Director of African Aurora Business Network (AABN), Innovation Center for Women, Agribusiness & Management. She leads a team of Certified Business Advisors as a Certified ILO Master Trainer and Business Advisor and manages a business network with 10,000 members nation wide.

    Maureen has almost 20 years of experience in private sector development in various capacities. Maureen has also worked as Team Leads for various projects with key international development agencies such as:

    • Empretec Ghana Foundation
    • World Bank – Ghana Development Marketplace
    • SNV Development Organization
    • Former CHF International

    ... and government SME projects providing high quality capacity building programs and advisory services on economic development solutions in Africa.

    Maureen holds a Master of Philosophy in Agribusiness from the University of Ghana, and Guelph University from Ghana and Canada, respectively.

    She holds a post-graduate certification in SME Development from the Golda Meir International Centre, Israel, Bristol and Durham University Business Schools and has participated in several economic development conferences and workshops globally. Maureen has been awarded several accreditation's from reputable institutions from across the globe in South Africa, Europe, Middle East and the USA in entrepreneurship and innovation in business development services.

    Alex Tawiah Odoi

    The former head of Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, School of Medical Sciences, University of Science and Technology, and Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi, Ghana.

    He is currently a visiting consultant gynaecologist and fertility specialist at the Trustcare Specialist Hospital.

    Prof. Alex Tawiah Odoi had his Specialist OG/GYN training in:

    • The West African College of Surgeons, Louisiana State
    • University Medical Centre and St. John's Mercy Memorial Medical Centre in St. Louis both in the USA
    • Gates Fellowship in Population and Reproductive Health at John Hopkins University, USA
    • Sub-specialty training in Reproductive Medicine at the Pulse Women's Hospital - Melbourne IVF Centre now IVI-Pulse Women's Hospital in Ahmedabad, India.

    Michael Gyang Owusu

    Michael Gyang Owusu is a Barrister at law and ADR practitioner living and practicing in Kumasi.He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law, University of Ghana.

    He was called to the Bar in 1992 and subsequently obtained an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

    Aside engaging in Private Legal practice as the Managing Partner of O & A Legal Consult Kumasi, he is also a senior lecturer in the law of evidence and Alternative Dispute resolution at the Ghana School of Law Kumasi campus.

    Additionally, he is an adjunct Lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology where he teaches Evidence at the Law Faculty and Arbitration Practice at the Faculty of Planning and Land Economy.

    Michael combines his knowledge of the law and business management in presenting an annual Seminar on Legal Management for SME’s at the Student Entrepreneurship Programme at KNUST.

    Michael is married to Bertha a certified Interior Decorator and has two children Jason and Sally.

    Pastor Helen Yawson

    Helen Yawson is a Pastor, and Head of the Women’s Ministry of Kings Way International Christian Center (KICC) Ghana.

    She has also set up Voicemania Ltd., a company committed to raising competent and confident musicians as well as speakers.

    She organises and facilitates Worship & Lifestyle Seminars.Helen Yawson is married to Andrew Yawson, and the couple has two daughters.

    Shika Obeng

    Shika Obeng is an Executive Director of FC Group of companies.

    She is currently in charge of the FC Skin and Beauty Klinik. A molecular biologist by profession, Miss Shika Obeng also doubles as the Research & Development Manager in charge of the FC Makeup range.

    Miss Shika Obeng is also an instructor at the FC Beauty College where she teaches Makeup and Entrepreneurship.
